Hall of Fame Schools Programme

World Rugby Hall of Fame schools programme offers students a unique opportunity to learn and be inspired by the game, its heritage, its global story and its exceptional players, all in the birthplace of Rugby.

The fully interactive visitor attraction combines the latest technology to showcase rugby, its rich heritage and character-building  values like never before.  Combining World Rugby's extensive video archive and historical memorabilia, the Hall of Fame invites students to immerse themselves in a unique experience that explores the moments and personalities that defined a game.

£45 per class

Max: 35 pupils per tour

Duration: 45 minutes


Workshops

All workshops include a tour and activities in the World Rugby Hall of Fame and a teacher's guide for pre and post visit activities.  The programmes fulfil the 'Learning outside the classroom' and 'Curriculum enrichment' agendas.  The sessions will be adapted to suit the key stage/age range of your group.


On the Ball

Where and how balls were made and ball stitching.

Art, science and social history

Cost: £130 per class

Max: 60 pupils or 2 classes

Duration: 2 hours

Wear it with Pride - Evolution of the shirt

Exploring materials and T-shirt screen printing

Science and technology - materials, PHSE and Art

To design and print a logo onto fabric squares per child

Cost: £160 per class

Max: 30 pupils or 1 class

Duration: 2.5 hours

To design and print a logo onto a t-shirt per child

Cost: £190 per class + an extra £1 per child for the T-shirt

Max: 30 pupils or 1 class

Duration: 3 hours

The 'Spirit of the Games'

Origins of the game, core values and banner creation

Social history, PHSE and Art

Cost: £130 per class

Max: 60 pupils or 2 classes

Duration: 2 hours
